1. I have been stationed overseas with the military and experienced socialized health care first hand and I have to say that although there are areas of our current health care system that could be improved, overall we enjoy one of the best health care systems in the world (no matter what any little surveys say).
2. Barack Obama AND Hillary Clinton both tout their own plans for allowing the government to take control of health care nationwide. This is a very scary concept to me. If it isn't to you, then you need to look up the Indian Health System renewal act that was just voted on in Congress recently. In fact, while you're at it, look up Barack Obama's speeches related to this bill. It points out the governments inability to manage health care for less than one quarter of the American population. Yet I hear nothing but praise for the Clinton and Obama health care plans.
3. Being a newly separated veteran, I have major problems with anyone that runs for President of the United States NOT standing and placing his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance. After all he may end up being the commander in chief of the executive branch of government and UNFORTUNATELY will have the power to issue executive orders and such (and yes I KNOW they're reviewed by the Supreme Court, but how long does THAT take?).
4. Look up Barack Obama's church, they state openly that they are committed to Africa on their website. What kind of committment are we talking about. They also say that they are committed to economic parity. Isn't forced economic parity called socialism?
