So Obama has been saying all

So Obama has been saying all along that his criticism of NAFTA is "just campaign rhetoric not to be taken seriously?"

Harharharhar!!!

Obama's true believers think they can make anything go away by saying magic words like "context."

The context is the memo, and what it puts "in context" is Obama's hypocritical posturing about NAFTA.

You are taking the memo out

You are taking the memo out of context. The memo is actually quite consistent with Obama has been saying in his speeches, that he didn't want to abolish NAFTA, but he wanted to strengthen it to the benefit of American workers.

Obama's Big Lie About NAFTA

Barack Obama's lead economic advisor says that "Obama's tough talk on the North American Free Trade Agreement is just campaign rhetoric not to be taken seriously."

As reported in the New York Times today, Austan Goolsbee, who has been Barack Obama's economic advisor since Obama's Senate campaign in Illinois, told Canadian consular officials in Chicago that "much of the rhetoric that may be perceived to be protectionist is more reflective of political maneuvering than policy."
